The Northern Lights in black and white.
The light was difficult to capture due to the light pollution from the two nearby cities. This pic is a long exposure image using an off camera flash.
So I pressed the shutter button and then ran with the flash in my hand from the camera to the other side of the beach. I fired my flash first in the direction of the rocks and finally in the direction of the ground and the forest. I got only this shot. The Northern Lights disappeared after 40 seconds.
