If I were you I would've done a lot of processing to make the beach super clean in the middle and right side of the image and cropped only that group of people, seems there's something there to really work with. Otherwise it's not really a minimalist picture.
Thanks for the feedback. After years of publishing scientific pictures where cleaning up images is forbidden, I’m still in learning mode on cropping and altering images to improve them. I liked my other (lower scoring) foggy beach picture better because it’s cleaner and hadn’t thought of cleaning this one up. Any advice on improving the other photo as well?
