Taken at Rubjerg Knude Fyr, an amazing lighthouse on the western coast of Denmark. It's situated in a large sanddune, and had been recently moved back from the eroding coastline (an amazing feat of engineering).
This shot was taken at sunset, in 30 kmph winds, which hurt!! But the end result was worth it, the low sun creating lovely light across the patterns in the sand dune created by the coastal winds.
Due to the high contrast scene, this is an exposure & focus stack blend, all photos taken in the exact same position. One photo for the foreground (to get that in focus), and two photos at different exposures for the mid ground, subject and sky.
