This is a self portrait taken at home. It was taken with a Canon 60D and lens 18-55mm, ISO 100, f/5 and 1/30 exposure, without flash. I was in the dark in my bedroom and the only light source was a lamp. I wanted to create a dramatic shot with the shadow cast by my own hand. It was taken in 2021, during the aftermath of the pandemic where things were starting to get back to some kind of normality but no one really knew what to do. This sort of reflects that hiding period that we all went through and the returning back to the light.
