Portrait of an actor.
We made this shot in my living room, against a white wall.
I wanted to emphasize his mature roughness with the pose and the expression. The key light is coming from camera left in a split light position, with a 3ft softbox+grid. The camera right side flash was bounced into a silver reflector.
When I saw, that the eye on the far side got more light than the closer one (which was supposed to be in more light) I felt the portrait unbalanced. So I gave a teal tint to the broad side, and orange to the short side, as the warm tone helps to give more interest to camera right eye, rebalancing the image.
