This is an image I did for a guy who does conferences on the history of Nasa and the space wars. He wanted promotional images for his posters and social media. We did several conventional headshots that were great, but then he asked if we could do something a bit more quirky, since it fits with his brand. So we ended up doing several shots of him dropping his pile of books and magazines all while trying to capture the perfect facial expression for the moment. This ended up being the shot he ended up using for all his printed posters. It's rare I get to do something like this and I really loved the way it turned out.

This was shot on the Nikon Z9 with the Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4 at f/4, ISO 64, 1/160th. I used 3 flashes. One in a 33 inch soft box and a key light, one in a stripbox as a rim light, and one in an umberella to lift the shadows slightly. Shop a savagepaper black backdrop.

Post processing was mainly skin clean up, slight color correction, and backdrop extention.
