3.03 - "Solid"

This is a portrait I took of a model named Xavier who I test with on a fairly regular basis. It was shot in studio using a two light setup. The main light was a Neewer S101-400 with a Neewer 24" octa for the modifier. The second light was a Neewer S101-400 with a 47" octa, however this one was positioned directly behind the model and aimed back at the camera in order to create the bright white background as well as the glowing light that sort of wraps around the edges of his face.

This was photographed using a Canon 5D MKIII with a Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 Soft Focus Lens (not to be confused with the 135mm f/2L lens) set to f/10, 1/125th sec, ISO 100. The editing consisted of very light dodging and burning and spot healing on the skin, and various adjustment layers in Photoshop for color toning and contrast.

very nicely done.

Every single time I look at a photo and think Man I love what you have done here - I look at the name and it is you. Very well done on all 3
