"Our Minds"
Mental health issues are a common theme in my photographs because of my own background of struggling with depression. I wanted to visualize the thoughts that go through our minds with a word cloud that I created using an online tool. This was shot in my home studio, also known as our living room. I'm lucky to have such a space where I can work on my ideas without any time restrictions or schedules.
I do my post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. I mainly use a gray background since it is so versatile, and I texture it in post-processing. I also added text to the background along with the texture for this one. My workflow usually goes like this: image manipulations, cleaning, background, light (vignette, dodge & burn, etc.), color grade, sharpening.
