With a model booked and an intermittently sunny summer's day in the New Forest, I managed to catch this one as part of the test shot. The light was idling between harsh sun and overcast, and it wasn't the most flattering in terms of diffused or directional.
Lucky, my model had a great bone structure and look that could take the lighting face-on, and a phenomenal jawline that really helped add some depth with a clean cut shadow.
The neutral tones of her clothing worked in tandem with the background and her hat was the perfect framing device.
