I am a hybrid Shooter (LUMIX S5 II for Video but Canon EOS R for Photo. I roam a lot at Events and Weddings looking for that unexpected moment. The Groom was a highly serious person and refused to show any emotion in Photo, no smiling or anything.
I knew at some point he would get emotional because his best man told me earlier the groom was really a soft at heart guy. I wanted to get the most separation for any moment with him, I carried the heavy Canon 70-200 f/2.8 and followed him for the walk up to see his Bride for the first time with no first look. As he walked up, I saw him put his head down and I knew it was a matter of time. No Flash, Canon EOS R at 180mm.
