TRI-Chrome Portrait (3 black and white film negatives combined to create a single color digital image)
As mentioned above, this image is actually 3 separate negatives combined to create a single color image.
The original negatives were photographed on the Hasselblad 500 c/m on black and white film. Each negative was photographed with a filter, first image was shot with a blue filter, the second with green and the third with a red filter on the lens.
I scanned the 3 negatives and in photoshop combined / layered the scans. I learned about this process via @atticdarkroom on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaqgmnoK_Us
The negatives were developed at home, using a mixture of beer, vitamin c and baking soda as my developer and a saltwater fix in an effort to reduce the environmental impact of at home film photography.
Love it!
