I snapped this photo in Valbona Valley, a secluded mountain village in Albania, Europe. The valley, designated as a national park, attracts tourists from around the world.
Despite its popularity, many locals have left in pursuit of a better life in cities or more developed European countries.
The girl in the picture was assisting her parents in managing this old, traditional house, which had been transformed into a refreshment shop for tourists.
Naturally, I obtained permission from her parents before capturing the moment.
