In postproduction I decided to desaturate all the colors except the eyes, in order to emphasise them.
I added the mirror to isolate the subject in a creative way.
Did you desaturate the color channels individually? A lot of blue remains in the photo. I would be interested to see what this image looks like without the desaturation (or maybe black and white). I like the use of the mirror, but honestly find the scattered blue hues distracting. I really like where you are going with this though!
