3.01 - "Solid"

For this shot I used a 2 light setup. To camera right I had a large piece of scrim material stretched out around 12 feet wide and shot a Godox AD400 Pro with a 7" silver reflector though it as my fill light. This was placed about 8-10 feet away from the model. For the main light I used another AD400 Pro in a 20" white beauty dish which I placed much closer to the model and also to camera right (but very slightly). I also added a large rectangular soft white reflector to model right to push some light back onto that side of her hair. I like the combo of this hard and soft light as it gives me lots of detail with the shadows lifted.

In post I didn't have to do much to this at all and that's how I like my images to be. A little bit of D&B and colour correction were necessary but I barely had to touch the skin as my model's complexion was excellent.

I used a Sony A73 with a Sony 90mm macro lens. Settings were 1/250 - f8 - ISO 100
