The person in the picture is my mother. She has been suffering from dementia for a couple of years. What I like most about this photo is how much she manages to convey her gaze and her countenance, as if she wanted to say something difficult to understand.
I took this picture in natural light, using a Canon AT-1, with a 35mm lens and a Cinestill BWxx 200. (f2.8, 1/250).
I only corrected the shadows and contrast a little bit in Photoshop.
