This is a studio shot image for a beauty product client. The brief was to mimic afternoon sunlight and show the glowing skin of the model who has applied their beauty product.
The lighting used here was clamshell lighting. With beauty dish on top and a rectangle soft box at the bottom to fill in the shadows. Used the model’s hand to add a shadow to her face to add that extra dimension to the image and make it more convincing as an afternoon sunlight.
