Title; " personality of Arslanbob"

My very first portrait photo. When I was on a roadtrip in Kyrgyzstan. When we were in the mountain village of Arslanbob, known for its large walnut forest, I came across this beautiful personality. While he was picking up stones from his front door, I asked if I could photograph him. He was very kind and said "Ооба албетте" what mean "yes offcourse".
he was just proud that I asked. when I was adjusting my camera settings he took his spontaneous pose.

If the whole world were only so kind as this person...
His expression carries the picture. Two things strike me as something you could improve in post-processing.
Portraits (and photography in general) usually have greater impact when the face or main subject is the brightest area of the picture. Light is the tool that directs the viewer's attention. Our eyes generally go toward brighter light, which in this picture is a stone wall in the background, and the face is relatively dark. My opinion, for what it's worth, is that you could brighten the face and beard, inverse the selection, and darken the background.
The other thing that looks a bit strange to me is the color cast of the man's face. Most of the picture is straight black and white, but the face (and outside of hand) has a reddish cast. I'd like the image better if it were all one or the other.
Thank you for your opinion. I'm pretty new on this kind of photography and like your feedback. It makes the community better 😊. Love to work further on this type off photography.
🙏🙏🙏 thank you!!!
