Enjoying Outdoor Shooting

My Fiancé and I went on a day out in Italy Monferrato to be able to get better at photography. This is one of the best shots we made.
We really enjoy our day shooting in the hills

Beautiful smile! I wish you, and your wife to be, a long and happy life together. The fun you both had shooting the photo shows through. I like the hand pulling her hair and curled fingers. Looks natural. Adds movement to the image.

Two things to think about as you work towards improving your photography...

Always be conscious when composing your picture of the background. It's easy to find a good subject. It's harder knowing what, or what not, to include in the rest of the picture. In this case, there's a distracting bright spot to the right of your fiancé's face. And, in my opinion, too much dull sky that you could crop out of the image. The final edited picture doesn't always have to be the same aspect ratio that comes straight out of the camera.

Second thing is... experiment with your camera perspective. The overwhelmingly large percentage of amateur pictures are taken from eye height. Play with raising or lowering your camera relative to the subject. In this case, raising the camera (or lowering your fiancé) and shooting down would accomplish a few things: eliminate some of the boring sky, eliminate the double-chin, and create a more unusual or distinctive pose.

Thanks for the suggestion! It's our very first shooting and I have an "experience" of roughly 1000 shots. I keep asking pros how to get better showing my pictures! Thank you!
