This is from a Valentine's session I did this year and the theme was "hopeless romantic". I wanted the models face to reflect some sort of hopefulness, yearning for her true love; and for here stare to be off camera as if she's looking at the person she loves or daydreaming of her ideal relationship.

Congratulations to the winners!
That mylar, so hot right now.
But seriously I feel like I've seen a lot of it these days to add "cOoL lIgHtInG" and then the final image doesn't really seem to reflect (no pun intended) the use of mylar.
In your case, however, I love how you have incorporated it into the image, like you added water to the floor. Beautiful reflections and bringing the color of the backdrop into the bottom of the frame. Excellent lighting and color usage too, well done!
