2 - "Needs Work"

This is a portrait of a friend of mine. We were doing a photoshoot for a client, and in between wardrobe changes, I took this portrait of her.

I used two continuous lights, each positioned at a 45-degree angle from the other and a reflector for filling some shadows.

I photographed her with a Sony 50mm f/1.8 lens on the Sony A6000 camera.

What I liked most about this portrait was her serene expression, almost like contemplation. That's why I wanted to submit this portrait for the competition.

Color Adjustment in Lightroom and Skin Retouch in Photoshop.

As a horizontal orientation, placing the middle of her neck at the bottom edge of the photo seems awkward to me. Consider cropping left and right, tighter to the face, leaving you with a square photo.

Thanks, but, not sure what you're saying. The photo is vertical and her face is on the upper third. I appreciate the input though.

The picture is horizontal and her nose is exactly in the center of the photo on my monitor.
