Meet Amos. An older man with a thick accent that makes it hard for even those who speak Liberian English like himself to understand him well. He has a strong grip, and doesn't look like old age has any chance on getting one over on him anytime soon. He has seen a lot, and is content with what he has done with his life. He is also a deeply religious man. I wanted to make sure in this picture to get the gleam in his eyes. In fact, it was intentionally very shallow depth of field to focus on what I viewed as important, the window into an amazing soul.
