This is the ceiling in the entrance area of the national museum of Ireland on Kildare St in Dublin. Its very easy to miss this beautiful architecture as most people just walk through this area in order to get inside the main building of the museum itself. However if you take the time to look up you are greeted with this sight. I only had a 24-70 Nikon Z f4 and as it was not wide enough to get the full circle in I placed it on the floor to get that extra few mm's all the while imploring tourists not to step into the field of view until I took the shot. By the time I left there were lots of tourists staring up at the ceiling. Converted to mono in Nik and some luminosty masking done to emphasis the shaft of light coming through the glass dome.
