2.14 - "Needs Work"

Erechtheion, the iconic temple in Athens (Greece) dedicated to the goddess Athena, is thousands of years old and still breathtaking. I had always wanted to see the wonders of ancient Greece, and finally, in April 2023, I got the chance. I visited the Acropolis late afternoon when I knew the sun would bathe the site. I was not disappointed; the Acropolis was glowing where the sun hit it, and the Erechteion seemed dipped in gold. The passing clouds added interest to the sky and played with the light.

I used a Canon EOS R5 fitted with an EF24-105mm ƒ4L IS USM lens. I took the photo handheld, with a single exposure. Later, I used Lightroom and Photoshop to process the image, making global and local adjustments for lighting, color, sharpness, and contrast.
