I took this image last year of PSLab's new showroom in Berlin. It was a commissioned shoot, so I was using my tripod setup with a Sony A7iii and a Canon 24mm ts-e.
PSLab is a lighting design company, and the goal of the shoot was to showcase not only their unique space, but their ability to control and create atmosphere using lighting. For this shot, we blended the combination of 2 artificial lights, one orange spot light for the table and one red for the lower space, with the natural cooler light from the upper floor's windows. To help give a sense of scale and utility, Valerie from the PSLab team assisted me as my human element in the scene.
As we balanced the lighting before capture, the image only consists of one exposure and I simply added a bit of contrast in post production to boost the texture of the sandblasted concrete walls.
