Málaga Lighthouse
I was commissioned to take photos of Picasso’s city of Málaga to decorate a customer’s offices there. To finish off my day’s work, I was rushing along the edge the Mediterranean Sea to get some blue hour pictures of Málaga. Suddenly I noticed a big flock of birds rising up from the sea between me and the lighthouse. I had to act quickly to set up the camera and get my photo, as the birds would surely fly away. I got there in the nick of time. I just held the camera in my hands and, to make matters worse, I had to hold the camera above a glass wall. Seconds later, the birds were far away. When I was examining the photo later, I realized that birds symbolise freedom and that the lighthouse only exists to prevent disasters and save lives. What a wonderful combination!
