Callao Cinema Madrid
This is a photo of the Callao cinema in Madrid. Built in 1926, it is one of the greatest works of architect Luis Gutierrez Soto, who was named Arquitect of the Year in the Open House Madrid festival of architecture. The photo, which was displayed at the festival, highlights the imposing facade of this historic cinema. Its aim is to highlight the creative artistry of a great architect. The photo was taken in the afternoon, when the cinema was not in the shade of nearby buildings. The editing process consisted of straightening the photo, mixing several photos to get the cyclist and ensure there were no cars in the finished product, and cropping the bottom part.
