This is an image I photographed for an architect here in Southern California. It is of a room designed for his client's grandchildren. The room is meant to be a bit silly, hence the hanging monkey light in the corner, and foster inspiration and wonder for the child as she grows up via the world map on the furthest wall. I felt that the placement of the little girl looking out of the frame towards the incoming light, filtered by the greenery outside, along with her expression gave a sense of the inspiration that the room is meant to instill in her. It was a very tight space and was photographed in all natural light with the 17 mm tilt shifted up and to the right. I realize it is distorted on the right side, but I didn't see a way around that while still capturing my vision of the room. I used the Sony A7Riii and post processing was just compositing the child in, taming the aggressive highlights from the sun, and adjusting the color temperature of the exterior.
