This is a house in Beverly Hills that I shot on spec. It was one of my first times having free reign of a house and attempting architectural photography. I had only an hour and a half on site and, out of my excitement, I went absolute ham with my 24-70 and shitty tripod. The architect of the home is Miguel Angel Aragones who is known in part for his use of neon lights. I took the opportunity to highlight the contrast between the Red/Orange LEDs inside with the blueness of the sky, pool, and exterior lights. There wasn't much thought in this one, I just put the camera down and took a 15 second exposure. It just kind of felt right. In post, I removed the hills behind the house (as requested by the real estate agent) and I found it further helped in contrasting the Orange and Blue. I tamed the intensity of the reflections in the windows and added some deep blues to the pool.
