Keq Marku's renowned tattoo parlour & art studio bunker in Albania in 2017
I had a unique privilege of meeting this artist, while travelling the Balkans, and more particularly, Albania.
Concrete military bunkers are a ubiquitous sight in Albania. The bunkers were ordered to be built by the dictator of Albania, Enver Hoxha from the 1960s to the 1980s, as the government fortified Albania by building more than 750,000 bunkers.
I photographed this using daylight, and with my Nikon f3, with Rollei Retro 80's 35 mm film. Minimum post-production was used.
(shortlisted and selected for representing Albania in the Slanted International Magazine #34—Europe issue, .
