Photo taken with a Nexus 6P, a phone released in 2015. It's really not about the equipment, it's about the vision and having enough time to make that vision come true in post-processing.
Inspired by the ultra-saturated tones of the Superflat art movement and retro-style illustrations, combining it with a washed-out/faded look, my work is an attempt to develop a different aesthetic that forces the contrast to come from colors (hue/saturation), rather than luminance. The intention is to transform a famous spot used a backdrop for numerous social media posts and present it in a unique way, making the viewer ask himself if he is looking at a drawing, a render or a photo.
Love it!
