The Pilgrim Monument, Provincetown, MA, USA.

My wife and I took a weekend trip to Provincetown, Massachusetts for our anniversary. We stayed at a Bed & Breakfast that just happened to have a roof deck with a view of the Pilgrim Monument. I set my Nikon D300 on a tripod and took a 5 exposure bracket set of photographs every couple of minutes to capture the best balance of ambient light and light on the tower. The magic moment was 7:43 PM. We enjoyed a bottle of wine while the sun set.

Nikon D300, f/14, 1.3 sec exposure, ISO 200, focal length 120 mm, exposure bias +0.3 step, aperture priority mode, center-weighted average metering focused on the tower.

Processed the raw file in Photoshop to crop the image. I also adjusted the contrast, brightness and saturation and added a touch of sharpening.
