During our trip in Venice my wife and me had the opportunity to visit a small island nearby called Burano with colorful houses. While capturing a series of photos framing directly these houses I noticed their reflection on the water. That was it! I captured it in this photo with my Sony a7 and a 28-70mm FE F3.5-5.6 OSS lens using 55mm focal length f5 1/60s speed and iso100 getting a softer chromatic pallet. Even though the water reflection partial vanishes the building lines, the architecture of these houses is still visible and jumps out of the liquid surface.
