An early morning shot of a blue heron looking for breakfast. Just as the sun came over the top of the city in Richmond, Virginia, I snapped this shot with my Nikon Z8 and Sigma 150-600 wide open. I was working on some backlighting shots and was immediately drawn to this one because of the Bokeh in the background that seems to balance the image out with the sun not yet illuminating all of the river.
