Climbing around the ancient Klis fortress outside of Split Croatia provided many beautiful photo opportunities. The challenge is to capture some of the fortress as well as the context of it's high mountain perch with it's view of Split and the Adriatic beyond. A surprise rain shower highlighted the texture of the cobblestones and the breaking clouds provided a nice soft light inside one of the many internal archways. A little zoom to bring the distant elements together with the walls of the passage.
