I've been in this particular grove on Vancouver Island a number of times, and the conditions during this shoot in this old growth forest were the best I've ever seen. It poured rain all night, which created all the atmosphere we needed as we had a clear, mainly sunny sunrise. Most of my shots of this tree haven't exemplified the undergrowth, so I'm happy to come away with a wider shot utilizing a large fern as a foreground subject.

Absolutely fantastic work, all your photos here! Your edits are truly masterful! The only Critique I would have is cropping, you kinda have too much space in some of the photos, which dissolves the attention a bit, and the focus moves from the intended subject. Both, this one, and the Aurora photo you posted would be better in portrait format, and maybe even wider in that case, so we can see more of the sky. But it's all nitpicking, keep up with the great work!
Well done
