It is the year of the comets but only a few nights without clouds. This the first night the 15th of Oct. 2024. I was using my A7RM5 and the FE 24-105mm f/4 OSS the reason for this lens was to be able to zoom in if need be. Most will zoom in to the comet only like zooming into the moon. I like the story of the capture and where. This comet was not visible but only by long exposure. Also using PhotoPills camera and lens at any MM selected was a 2 second shot so with NR on this is what was captured BUT in post using Dxo RAW I got the sharpest images and Sending to Lr not only edit but again was able to use Lr NR getting even sharper. Only cropped a little but with Topaz Photo AI resized to original.
It is at NS Mayport facing west toward the harbor and beyond the harbor was a ship blowing some smoke. To make things hard a very windy high pressure bringing very cold wind but lucky to have a picnic table to sit at and knees pressed against the sticks I was able to capture many images close or wide some in portrait also.
