Dispute on the road
During a visit in Havana / Cuba I experienced this scene. A dispute between two men. one man was very irritably and has threatened the other man with a hammer. Fortunately, the argument doesn't escalate because the people on the street have separated those arguing.
The image is based on the following technical data:
Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
Focal length: 105mm
Aperture: ƒ/7.1
Exposure time: 1/320s
ISO 200
Date taken: February 19, 2011
I processed the photo with Photoshop CS6 and the Nikfilter Viveza 2.
There's a lot going on in the image, so the fighters almost get lost in it. I think if you crop off the van up to the guy in the blue tshirt and the wall up to the woman in the striped tank top, then cut off a little of the top, it'll draw the attention the men a lot easier.
Good capture, regardless; I just think it could be improved with just a simple crop.
Thanks, Ed, for your suggestion on the picture composition.
But I don't know if I can take the picture out of the contest now. Some users have already rated it.
But I will re-post it normally at a later date and try to edit it according to your suggestion first.
Thank you very much, Ed, for your constructive criticism, which I am always open Ear to.
Greeting Herbert
Wow, this is the second fighting in the streets of Havana image in this contest. Is Cuba filled with that much random violence that people are capturing while they visit?
