Small plane crash outside Santa Monica Airport.

I shot this in August 2011 after a small plane that had taken off from the Santa Monica Airport had an emergency and crashed into a nearby house. The pilot survived with relatively minor injuries after being extracted from the cockpit by firefighters and EMTs.

Camera used was a Nikon D7000 with a 24mm AIS lens. Shot at 1/160 sec at f/8 and ISO 100 using manual focus.
