Me and my group went on a photo walk around Iloilo Province in the Philippines way back 2007 when we passed by this old lady and asked her if we could take photos of her. She quietly waved and asked us to give her five minutes. To our surprise, she actually went inside to put on some lipstick. :) We took a few shots and then picked a hibiscus flower from her garden and stuck it behind her ears, creating a stark contrast between her ageing wrinkled face and the dark interior of her house. Shot with a nikon d70 with its 18-70 kit lens.
