I captured this photo of a renowned “Kuda Lumping” street performer outside my office during a break. Kuda Lumping, a traditional Javanese dance, features dancers riding bamboo horse props. It often induces trance-like states and occasionally includes daring stunts like consuming glass, walking on hot coals, or even fire breath. This dance holds deep cultural and spiritual significance within Javanese traditions.
