This photo was captured using a Leica M11 and a 35mm Summilux ASPH FLE lens. It was taken in a controlled, closed environment, in a small studio setup. I attempted to take this shot multiple times, waiting for the ideal moment because these pigeons have unpredictable flight patterns. Essentially, they would fly towards their female mates once they were released into the air. In Indonesia, this is the training method used to teach these pigeons to return to their homes.
