Budapest in Nov. 2024. I knew I wanted to put together a composite, I just wasn't sure what I was going to put into the space. The daytime shot was dreary with flat light. As the sun was going down, the city lit up and I knew I had to get another shot at the same spot. The night photo turned out way better. Used the HDR setting in LrC to get the lights to pop. Edited both images in LrC and then sent over to PS.
I played around with flipped images. The daytime sky is crap, but I left it because it's the stark contrast to the inky black night skies. Cleaned up the cranes and one street sign.
Shot on Sony A1. Daytime shot ISO 100, 38mm, f/14, 0.4 sec.
Nightime shot ISO 1000, 56mm, f/10, 1/6 sec.
looks very unique i love the concept
Thanks! If you flip it upside down, then you can see the vast majority of the first shot. I really just had the triangle area to get creative. Hindsight, wish I would have done a few things differently to make for a better post product, but I was sick and not on top of my game.
