Rules & Prizes
For the final photography contest of the year, we want to see your best images taken in 2024! There isn't going to be a specific genre for our December contest so anything goes as long as it's one of your favorite or most successful images of the year. Of course it must have been taken or published for the first time in 2024.
Rules
- This contest is 100% free to join
- Each photographer may submit up to 3 images
- Each photograph must include a small description that includes details about how the photograph was taken, what post processing was done to it, where it was taken, and why it was your best image taken in 2024. Simply writing a single sentence that doesn't explain much of anything will disqualify you from being chosen!
- These images must have been taken or published for the first time in 2024
Prizes
Fstoppers is excited to be giving away some amazing photography related gear for each of these critique the community contests. For December's critique we are mixing it up a little bit.
All Picked Submissions will Received the Follow Prizes!
To celebrate the launch of Lee Morris's hot sauce, each image featured in the next Critique the Community will receive a free bottle of Oliveum Hot Sauce. For anyone who has followed Fstoppers over the last few years, you have probably heard the story of Lee's journey into the hot sauce world. Today marks the first time the public can purchase a smaller, more affordable 3.3 oz bottle.
Also, every photograph featured in the next Critique the Community will also receive a free Fstoppers Photography Tutorial from Fstoppers.com/store.
We are excited to see some of the best images created by the Fstoppers Community and we look forward to heading into the new year with a bang!

Thanks for choosing my images! Just to clarify, the northern lights picture is a panorama (two rows of 8 pics on each). It was not taken with a fish eye and the curve that you see is a combination of the panorama effect plus the end of the fjord (which is curved, too). You can check my profile for more panoramas :-)
By saying that the photo has to be published for the first time in 2024, it means on Fstoppers site or anywhere, including IG, for example?
