Conceptual: Visit to the Art Gallery

While online I had to convince a website that I was not a robot…and it started me thinking.

I imagined what it would look like if two robots went to an Art Gallery and tried to interpret what they are seeing.

[In this case my studio is my dining room table] The floor is made from two 12” x 12” ceramic tiles. The walls are white cardstock. The Artwork is printed on photo paper framed with black cardstock and mounted. Yes, with the secondary piece of Art the QR code does work.

I worked with the placement of the walls and a single source light set to 5500K to give the appearance of something more around the corner. I chose 50mm and eye level to give the viewer the feeling of being in the Art Gallery.

I crafted the two “robots” out of scrap pieces of stuff just laying around, and the little one is one-inch tall.

Devils in the Details!
