This photo is of the wings of a Black Swallowtail butterfly that was feeding on a flower in my front garden. I planted the garden primarily with native Texas flowering plants to attract pollinators, and I go out most mornings & evenings with my camera to try to get photos of the vistors which include butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. In this case there were two Black Swallowtails visiting on a recent morning and for this shot I was able to capture the detail of the wings with their color spots, zoomed in to make an abstract form of them, The photo was taken with a Sony a7R V camera with a Sony FE 200-600 zoom lens, handheld.
