Supernova!

This is a shot of fireworks in the evening taken in Kamakura, Japan by the beach. The fireworks just exploded so they're not fully open when they usually look like a flower in this case it's still blooming.

This was taken with the Canon EOS 60D camera and the 24mm-105mm f4IS lens at an f/18 and 2.5 sec exposure.

Very minimal editing was done to it, mainly changing the contrast to make the background darker and the colors brighter.
