I shot the bubble with a macro lens on a tripod, using an off-camera flash positioned to the side and slightly behind it. The flash was diffused to soften the light and highlight surface details without glare. I kept the background dark and used a small aperture for more depth of field. The flash was triggered wirelessly for stability.
