This image was taken on a late December afternoon when the Florida season was transforming the myriad reeds at the edge of Lake Johnson to seed pods, and dates back to 2004 with my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 20D with an EF 70-300 zoom lens at 210mm, and lit solely by the descending sun,
