Hello everyone,

This was taken a few years ago at the Asakusa samba parade in Tokyo, which is a yearly event. The dancers all wear colorful Samba costumes and dance to the beat. The event used to be held in August, but due to the hot weather the past few years, it's been held in September instead.

This was shot with the Canon 60D and the f4 24-105mm IS lens at f4, 1/500sec, and ISO 64,0 and then edited in Photoshop.

The parade is on the road so the background is always busy since you can see the other side of the road and audience, so the choice is either to zoom into a specific dancer and fill the frame or live with the busy background, of course this has to happen if you want to shoot more than one person at a time as I did with these 3 cute dancers.

Thanks!
