At the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival for the second day. High winds kept the balloons grounded the first day, so there was much joy when the Dawn Patrol announced that all was good for takeoff. First light was flat and colors muted, but finally the highest balloons were catching some sun. Just as the sun cleared the horizon, the blue/blue/white balloon in the foreground inflated creating a triangular window filled with brightly lit splashes of color.
Cropped, minor tone adjustments and removed a distracting guy rope in On1.

Really wonderful composition here, Tom.
Thank you, Andrew. This event offered many opportunities.
